There are 3 basic methods to save money:

*Buy It Cheaper
*Make it last longer
*Use it less

Using all three strategies may not work or be desirable in all situations.  For instance, you should not brush your teeth less.  or maybe you prefer the taste of the more expensive brands.  But if you can combine strategies the results are dramatic.

Fresh & Easy is the nearest grocery store to my house, but it is not a store I normally shop at.  The stores do not take coupons and the selection is much less than a larger grocery store.  But, when I need something quick I go there.  They have a spot in their cold section where they have sale items.  I try to always go and take a look before I head out the door.  Boy was I glad I did.  I was able to buy all the items pictured above for $4.20!  Here is what I bought:
