Banana Nut Cookie Recipe

I love banana bread, but am always looking for something else to do with those brown bananas. Today I made Banana Nut Cookies and I think they are better than banana bread! Here is the recipe:

BANANA NUT COOKIES

2 1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup mashed bananas
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2-1 cup chopped walnuts

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt, set aside
3. Beat the butter and sugars until fluffy. Add the eggs, bananas and vanilla, beating well.
4. Gradually add the dry mixture and stir until blended. Stir in the nuts
5. Place on cookie sheets and cook 10 minutes.
